Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Felux was founded in 2019 on the belief that there is a better way to buy and sell steel and metal. We believe the answer lies in technology and data. This technology is the guiding light that drives the future of the steel and metals industry.

The steel and metals industry touches every aspect of daily life. Yet, it is one of the few remaining industries that is offline.

Steel producers, suppliers, and their customers are the hidden innovators behind the end-products that we rely on every day. Steel and metals play a part in almost all of the modern infrastructure and innovation that exist on our planet - from the automobile, the airplane, and the bridges we travel on, to the buildings we live in, and the computers and tools we use to innovate - steel is a crucial ingredient in all of our lives. It is also key to unlocking the well-being of future generations, as steel is a necessary part in climate change solutions, such as solar panels, EVs, and wind turbines.

Despite steel’s prevalence and importance, business is still being done the same way it was 100 years ago. Until now.

It takes tens of thousands of suppliers and distributors globally to produce and deliver the amount of steel and metal needed in today’s modern world. Yet, supply remains inaccessible to many as it is largely unorganized. The steel and metals industry craves a single destination to efficiently source, procure, compare, and distribute, without the hassle of scouring thousands of websites, chasing sales reps, and attending costly in-person trade shows.
